Overview
careerfocus.io offers a straightforward refund policy designed to protect users who have not yet had the opportunity to fully evaluate the product.
Eligibility Window
Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of your initial payment. Requests received after this window will not be eligible regardless of usage.
Usage Condition
A refund will only be approved if no premium features have been used on your account following the upgrade. Premium feature usage includes:
- AI resume generation
- AI cover letter creation
- Resume downloads beyond the free tier
- AI Job Kit generations
- Any AI-powered improvement or tailoring action
If even one premium action has been completed, the billing cycle is considered consumed and is non-refundable.
How to Request
Email [email protected] within the 48-hour window. Include your registered email address and the payment reference number from your Razorpay receipt. We will verify account activity and respond within 2 business days.
Processing
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. Your account will be downgraded to the free plan immediately upon approval.
Non-Refundable Situations
The following situations are not eligible for a refund under any circumstances:
- Renewal payments on any plan
- Requests made after 48 hours of the initial payment
- Any account where a premium feature was used
- Accounts found in violation of our Terms of Service
Refund eligibility is determined solely by account activity at the time of request. This policy may be updated at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the current version.
